Writer’s Block in Thesis Writing

Thesis writing requires good research and writing skills. The entire process of writing a thesis can be tiresome as it demands patience and perseverance. The incapacity of a student to think or progress ahead while writing a PhD thesis is known as a writer’s block in thesis writing.

It is very frustrating to experience a writer’s block in thesis writing as the deadlines need to be met and spending hours in front of the computer without typing even a single word can be really boring. This kind of a writer’s block can be conquered by organizing in the mind properly the jumbled up thoughts and ideas.

Once the thoughts and ideas are organized properly, they should be penned one by one on a paper. The best alternative is to begin with the core idea and elaborate on it for the next half an hour. This leads to the flow of many other ideas, all of which should be included on the paper.

After all the ideas are put together, they need to be set in a reasonable order and connected to each other. Connecting them leaves some holes in the thesis, which can be looked forward to being filled up during the entire process.
